Drive and Technology Showing Results
Following weeks of revealing night
infrared images showing illegal aliens flooding across the Mexican
border and a rally
that presented more than 100,000 petitions demanding military
on the border, the U.S. Border Patrol is beginning to respond.
"The head of the U.S. Border Patrol said improvements are
being made to make the southwest border more secure. Gus De La
Vina said agents will receive combat style training, cooperation
with National Guard Units will be increased and technology expanded,"
(KOLD TV 3/6/04) Glenn Spencer of ABP says increased pressure
brought on by his group's efforts are beginning to pay off.
