Growing
"Disconnect" With Feds
Phoenix - Sept. 15 - In a demonstration
of growing solidarity, a group of Arizona State Republican elected
officials held a press conference on the lawn of the Arizona
House of Representatives to express support for Arizona
Proposition 200. Led by Rep. Randy Graf and Rep. Russell
Pearce, the group pointed to the growing costs of providing public
benefits to unqualified persons and growing evidence of voter
fraud to explain the broad public support for the measure. The
press conference was marked by a number of hostile questions
from a representative of National
Public Radio who, at one point, tried to stop Glenn Spencer
from speaking.
