ABP Reports Confirmed: Naco Traffic Down
Apprehensions Off 50% in Cochise County

Important Milestone
Sierra Vista, Arizona -- Only one day after American Border Patrol (ABP) reported improvements in border enforcement, the Border Patrol Tucson Sector reported that apprehensions of illegal aliens in Cochise County had dropped by 52% over the same period last year. "This clearly demonstrates that ABP is developing the capability of providing an independent assessment of border enforcement," said Glenn Spencer, president of ABP. Spencer said ABP is developing intelligence sources and methods that could be applied to the entire border of the U.S. Spencer added that BP performance is far from adequate.
