Culberson: I'm focused, I'm fed up, and I'm going to do everything in my power as an appropriator to make sure that these homeland security officials secure that border, enforce immigration law, or they don't get paid. (See this segment from ABP video)

Tucker: In addition to the lack of funding, there's some last minute add- ons to the bill in the form of a letter from Senate Majority Leader Frist and House Speaker Hastert. The letter promises that state officials, local officials [Mexican Veto] and Native American tribes will be given say in where the fence goes. It, in addition, promises the Department of Homeland Security has the flexibility to decide if an actual physical fence is necessary, or a technological one will suffice. Contact your Congressman.
