Report Says Illegal Immigrants Contributed $17 billion to Texas

"In her report, Strayhorn said her estimates
differed from the federation's for several reasons. She did not,
for example, count the cost of educating the American-born children
of undocumented parents." (Duuhhh!)
Comment: She says 1.5 million illegals contribute $11,333 each.
That is well below the poverty level. What would 1.5 million
well-educated immigrants have contributed? "This is a politically
motivated piece of junk," said Glenn Spencer of American
