Rep. King moves to end national insanity
WHO-TV -- Des Moines -- January 4
Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa)
FIRST DAY: King Gets Down To Business
The 113th Congress of the United States is just getting into gear, but Iowa Representative Steve King wasted no time proposing major legislation.
King wants to change the U.S. Constitution by targeting the 14th Amendment.
In particular, he wants to change the citizenship clause which says, "All persons born or naturalized in the United States are citizens of the United States."
According to King many people interpret that clause to mean children of illegal immigrants born in the U.S. are U.S. citizens, which he thinks is flawed.
To address that issue, he proposed a law called the Birthright Citizenship Act of 2013. Under it, you would only be considered a U.S. citizen if at least one parent was a citizen or legal permanent resident or if one parent was an undocumented immigrant serving in the military.
Red DotAmerican Patrol Report Comment
Twenty years ago we warned that California was being "overwhelmed" by illegal aliens and their anchor babies.
There is also strong evidence that we are involved in a demographic war with Mexico.  Americans want this practice stopped, but it is likely that the thought police – in the form of the mainstream media --- will descend on Rep. King and others --- beating them with their truncheons.
Will Congress finally find the courage to end this insanity?
