Dear Immigration Reform Activists,

AB 60 [now attached to SB804], the illegal alien driver license bill that we have been opposing for almost two years is sitting on Governor Gray Davis' desk awaiting his signature. AB 60 must be VETOED. The amendments that Davis requested DO NOT close the loopholes that illegal aliens, criminals and terrorists can use to get a valid California Driver License.

If passed, AB 60 will provide a virtual amnesty to illegal aliens by giving them a legal identity document--without being sure of the identity of the person.

AB 60 will allow criminals and terrorists to establish a new identity--an alias--that will allow them to evade detection and apprehension.

Please call Governor Davis at 800-303-8332 and insist that he VETO AB 60.
