The Senate Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on Technology, Terrorism and
Government Information is holding a hearing tomorrow (Friday, October 12)
on "Technology's Role in Preventing the Entry of Terrorists into the United
States."

Below is the witness list, which includes Steven A. Camarota, Director of

Also tomorrow, at 10:30 a.m., Mark Krikorian will be making a presentation
at a briefing conducted by the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. The
briefing is part of the Commission's investigation "into the civil rights
implications of the evolving immigration laws and how these laws and
policies are impacted by the September 11, 2001 terrorist attcks."

The briefing will be held in the fifth floor conference room at the
Commission's headquarters at 624 9th Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. For
