Live Internet Test of Hardened Video System Tested on Mexican Border

Glenn Spencer of American Border Patrol tests new hardened BorderCam system on a hill overlooking the Mexican border about 200 feet inside the United States approx. 10 miles east of Douglas. (February 7, 2003)
American Border Patrol Upgrades System
Douglas, Ariz. - Feb. 7 (ABP) American Border Patrol has successfully tested an upgraded version of its BorderCam Satellite Internet video system. Due to harsh conditions on the border, ABP has experienced equipment breakdowns that have led to mission terminations. The new hardened system worked well in a test east of Douglas, Arizona.
