Population Spill
By Mark Andrew Dwyer - 4.24.05
It's obvious to about everyone except for our ruling elites and a few "one world" utopists that today's immigration is anything but what it used to be 100 years ago.
Stereotypical immigrants of late 1800's and early 1900's came to America in order to get a fresh start in their pursuit of happiness and liberty, and treated her as a promised land of opportunity that was worth of living and dying for. They worked hard to make their American dream come true, and were grateful for a once in a lifetime chance given to them, although there were no "freebies" or "public assistance" available to them at that time so that those immigrants who couldn't make it on their own had to return to where they came from. One of their utmost desires was to become like all other English-speaking Americans as they (the immigrants, that is) perceived assimilation a key to their economic and social success. As a result, they made American nation even stronger, freer, and more prosperous - an effect that would clearly be impossible should they, as a bloc, maintain their native cultures and allegiances to their countries of origin, like today's immigrants usually do.
Stereotypical immigrants of late 1900's and early 2000's are a totally different stock, and not just because of their record numbers that are much larger than anything that America had seen before. They came to America not because they wanted to become a part of American dream or because of their admiration of American way of life and culture but because they wanted to claim "their" share of commonwealth that this nation accumulated as a result of diligent work and industriousness of generations of Americans (which term includes the immigrants of a century ago). I mean, in a group of millions of foreigners that land on American shores each year you can find many examples of whatever you can think of, including the old-fashioned immigrants that want to become Americans and preserve this country and this nation as we know them for their children and grandchildren, but the fact is that a majority of today's immigrants are "immigrants" in name only; the nouns "settlers" or "invaders" (that euphemistic "migrants" is a usual substitute of) seem to much better characterize what they are actually seeking in America.
Illegal immigrants on Swiss border (Source: [1]) This shift in immigration paradigm is not just an American phenomenon and is happening elsewhere, too. The picture recently taken on the Swiss-French border tells it all. A group of what seems like highly fertile women with children of various ages trying to cross the international border for one obvious reason: to find a new place to house and feed their numerous kids, and (as one can guess) to give birth to even more of new ones. They seem so much into procreation that they couldn't even wait until they secured economic future for their future offspring. I am sure some of them even got pregnant while "migrating". And that high fertility that outgrowths one's ability to provide for one's kids is the root cause of the "immigration" problem the U.S. and other Western countries are experiencing these days.
The rest of the story is a logical consequence of the above facts. Once there is not enough space and resources for new generations of prolific nations in their native countries, they will exercise demographic pressure in order to expand their settlements by means of "migratory tactics", a modern day invasion, if you will, and move with their offspring to other nations' greener pastures. Not running away from anything (except for a lack of usable land and infrastructure) they, quite naturally, like any invading army, will have no desire to assimilate to their host nations and, having a strong sense of origin and ethnicity as they do, will try to replicate the cultures and political structures of the societies that they left, instead. As a result, they will inflict serious social and often economic damage to the countries they settle, blaming their hosts for all their misery, and even trying to evict them from their land (as some Hispanic activists are doing to Americans of European ancestry). Which does not stop them from demanding rights, respect, and public assistance from the very hosts that they disapprove and despise.
To make things worse, the groups that are characterized by the highest fertility and birth rates tend to exhibit below average IQ, a highly hereditary although imperfectly measured characteristics that is passed from parents to their children, as the bulk of scientific evidence (see [2]) strongly suggests. (This could be their way of beating the odds in the struggle for their group survival.) As a result, both world and American national IQ are slowly but steadily decreasing, pulling down measurable academic performance of average student. This dysgenic fertility is particularly visible in the U.S., a nation that is the single largest recipient of the population spill from the Third World countries (mostly from Mexico). It slashes statistical chances of American college graduates for successful and rewarding professional careers, which in many ways facilitates further escalation of poverty in the U.S and elsewhere.
Please, take another look at the picture above and try to remember the story it tells. Because as long as folks who can't afford having kids keep multiplying, and at the excessive rate, no economy, no charity, and no civilization will survive the sweeping population spill that is a direct result of their breeding irresponsibility. Whatever help you and your organization are going to extend to the foreign poor, please, make sure that it will not be used just to further perpetuate their exponential population growth. After all, if we, affluent Americans can use birth control then it's very much in order to expect the same from those who cannot provide adequate habitat and means of subsistence for their numerous kids and are trying to "migrate" to the neighbor countries, instead.
