Alert! Senate hijacks Iraq spending bill with amnesty amendment!

In an appalling slap at American servicemen and servicewomen, the Senate Appropriations Committee passed an amendment to the Iraq supplemental appropriations bill that would give amnesty to millions of illegal aliens.
 
 By a 17-12 vote, the committee approved Senator Feinstein's amendment that allows 1.35 million illegal workers in agriculture to remain for an initial five-year period. With the addition of family members, the total amnesty would swell to three million. The committee also voted to increase immigration by expanding the H-2B visa program.
