Dear John and Ken:
Pictured below is the daily traffic jam at 10:00 AM on Sepulveda
Blvd of people who want to get on the 405 north and/or the Sepulveda
Pass. This line is typically 1/2 mile long stretching back past
Burbank Blvd -- and it take about 20 minutes to get from Burbank
Blvd to Ventura Blvd, at which time the real jam starts. The
traffic jam pictured below is just one of the hundreds on many
L.A. streets. I'm sure I don't have to tell you that the root
cause of the problem is illegal immigration population growth.
If you believe that Hertzberg's idea about syncronizing thraffic
signals (Note that the traffic light is green) will fix the traffic,
then I want to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge.
You guys are either naive, or you're up to something that non
of us out here can figure out. You won't have Walter Moore, who
is the only mayoral candidate who pledges to fight illegal immigration,
on you show, but you take a guy like Hertzberg who sits on the
board of directors of MALDEF, and elevate his popularity because
you buy into his crock of bull that he can fix the traffic --
gimme a break, guys.
I now find myself occationally switching radio stations to see
what the other hosts are talking about. I'll tell you this: if
Doug McIntyre, who has taken up the crusade on illegal immigration
that you guys seem to be dropping the ball on, had his show at
the same time slot as you guys, he'd wipe your show off the air.
We the audience who have elevated your talk show to number one
on the issue of illegal immigration, are respectfully asking
you to get back on track by having Walter Moore on you show Monday.
Whether Moore wins or not, I give you my personal guarantee that
you will give your show and Clear Channel the biggest boost ever.
