11/12/01 In reference to the article:

Georgia governor, Roy Barnes, yesterday acknowledged that Mexican immigrants have driven the United States economy.

I guess he means all the American citizens can retire and go fishing because the Mexican illegal aliens are doing everything. I really think Gov. Barnes must think we are stupid because this comment could not be more ridiculous.

Here is the top ten things Mexican immigrants have driven.

1. Mexican immigrants have driven cars without a drivers license.
2. Mexican immigrants have driven cars without any auto insurance.
3 Mexican immigrants have driven bicycles that were stolen from my neighbors kid last month.
4. Mexican immigrants have driven me crazy with their terrible driving skills, or lack of.
5. Mexican immigrants have driven the border of Mexico and the United States back to South Dakota.
6. Mexican immigrants have driven the unskilled pay scales down below minimum wage in some cases.
7. Mexican immigrants have driven half as many nails into a newly framed house as safety codes specify.
8. Mexican immigrants have driven most of the lawn mowers and weed eaters in this country.
9. Mexican immigrants have driven school teachers crazy because their children do not speak English in a English speaking country.
10. Mexican immigrants have driven real-estate values down and rents up in the same neighborhoods.

You may ask what Mexican immigrants have not driven, practically everything else that works well in this country except they have not driven themselves back to Mexico yet.
