Merry Christmas - And Bush Is Planning to Give Social Security to Mexicans

Phil Brennan, NewsMax.com
Monday, Dec. 23, 2002

If The Bush administration caves in to pressure from the Mexican government thousands of Mexicans living south of the border will be getting an estimated $1 billion in Social Security checks annually.

Both the White House and Mexican government insist that negotiations on the matter are informal and still in the preliminary stages. More.....

Reader Remarks:

12/25/02 -- Dear Senior Presidente Arbusto:

Do you realize that you will be a "One Termer" like your dad ? His deceitful pledge to "read my lips" cost him turn out with the base. You have an obsessive dedication to the Mexican government. You have already lost your base. Guys like me will vote third party as a protest. With appointments like Ziegler at the I.N.S. and no move to militarize the border and now Social Security benefits to Mexicans. Are you a sleeper agent for the Mexican government. What is Carl Rove telling you ? The American people are 75+ % in favor of militarizing OUR border. We have troops on ever one else's border (most recently the Dominican Republic). That tells me that you recognize that troops are a good tool to protect from invasions. 75% of the American people perceive that the Mexicans are invading the U.S.A. Instead of discouraging illegal immigration, you are just adding one more magnet. I understand that the cost to the U.S. Treasury could be as high a one billion annually ! Bill Simon lost to the most vulnerable Governor in California's history because he pandered to M.E.C.H.A. Guys like me voted "NONE OF THE ABOVE" or just stayed home. Pol. Sci. RULE No. 1: Do not defy your base. Just ask your dad when he signed onto the tax increase that he promised he would not do. To borrow a phrase "Read my Lips" " You too will be a one termer" As Carville would phrase it: "It's illegal immigration stupid."

Sorry bout my grammar, but I know y'all understand.

12/25/02 -- Dear President Bush:

No matter how much you pander to Mexico and grovel for the "Latino vote", you won't get it. You and Karl Rove can never compete with illegal alien advocacy groups like MALDEF, LULAC, Southwest Voter Registration Project, Los Amigos, National Council of La Raza (the race), and hundreds of other groups.

They send armies of volunteers into immigrant neighborhoods all over the country telling people (at least twice at each house just before every election cycle) the following: republicans want to throw your kids out of school; republicans want to take away your social security; republicans want to take away your food stamps; republicans want to take away your medical care; republicans want to take away your welfare; republicans want to deport you.

Americans don't want our Social Security system to be robbed by foreigners who worked ILLEGALLY in the United States. Americans don't want amnesty for illegal aliens. Americans don't want you to plot with Vicente Fox against our interests.

You have lost my vote.

12/24/02 -- Dear Mr. President;

I just wanted you to know that I think that giving Mexican Nationals working in the United States of America illegally social security benefits is a great idea that is long past due.

May I also suggest a few of more things your office can do that I'm sure will please the Mexican Government and the Mexican People?

1. Full voting rights in all United States national and local elections.

2. Full access to Unemployment Benefits accessible from United States consulate in Mexico.

3. Full access to FHA loans accessible from any United States consulate in Mexico.

4. A presidential decree that will convert all Student Loans currently held by Mexican Citizens, to non-repayable Grants.

5. A United States national drivers license should be set up for Mexican Nationals that they can obtain prior to leaving Mexico that will be good for all fifty states when they choose to migrate to the United States.

6. All children born to Mexican Citizens anywhere in the world should be granted an automatic United States citizenship at the time of birth. This will help to reduce the health care cost to the United States, while at the same time reduce the chance of injury these Mexican mothers expose themselves to when to traveling to the United States to give birth.

7. 10 million dollars to each Mexican Citizen and 5 million dollars to Mexican American that holds a valid Mexican Citizenship here in America for compensation for the lands taken from them following the Mexican American war, and for the trouble and expense they may have incurred migrating to the United States whether they migrated or not.

8. You should also make sure that anything that the Real President (Mr. V. Fox) decides he would like to have America do is followed and completed in a swift and timely manner from now on.

That's about all I can think of for now, but I'm sure that if anything comes up that may be a benefit to the Mexican People you'll be prompt in taking care of it for them.

It's obvious you could care less for what the American people want and are only interested in protecting your and your families pocket book.

12/24/02 -- Dear President Bush:

I am shocked and surprised that you would consider allowing Mexicans (both legal and illegal) to participate in our Social Security system (what a misnomer that is!!!). As you no doubt already know, Social Security will encounter major problems in about 15 to 20 years when the first of the baby boomers start to retire. How in the name of God do you think that millions of additional Mexicans can be added to the system and have it still be viable when people such as myself retire? Frankly speaking, I am getting more than just a little bit fed up with your constant pandering to Mexican voters (both legal and illegal). If you are such a weak candidate that you feel the only way you can get re-elected is to pander and grovel before Mexicans then, like Trent Lott, you need to step aside for the good of both the Republican Party and the country and allow a more suitable candidate to represent the GOP in 2004. If this constant pandering to Mexicans does not stop and if you do not do anything to seal our porous southern border then I will not vote for you in 2004. If that means we get the sequel to the Bill and Hillary freak show starting in January of 2005, hey, don't blame me. You will have only yourself and your weak-kneed approach to dealing with illegal immigration to blame.

Bush and the proposed Social Security ripoff

12/22/02

Dear President Bush:

I voted for you in 2000 but will not vote for you in 2004 if you continue to sell the U.S. down the road by pandering to Mexicans in this country and to Mexico.

Nearly each week we learn that you are planning to offer another benefit to Mexicans. This past week it was revealed that you plan to add Mexicans to our Social Security system. What's wrong with you? Have you lost your mind?

And how about your plan to put thousands of U.S. troops on the Afghanistan border? This is unbelievable and outrageous. How about our borders? You continue to allow illegals, including terrorists, murderers and drug runners, to easily enter our country. That's in addition to all the poor and diseased illegals poring in. Our daughter-in-law is a doctor at a major hospital in Hollywood, where illegals without insurance demand free service and Spanish-speaking doctors and nurses. If they don't get this, they threaten legal action. Outrageous! Los Angeles, once a great city, has become a Third World city. It's disgraceful and reprehensible.

In the weeks following 9/11, I was glad I voted for you. I thought we finally had a tough president who actually cared about America. However, you have disappointed me with regard to illegal aliens in this country -- no matter what country they're from, although most are from Mexico -- and your pandering to Mexico.

Understand this: I am a registered independent voter who has become involved in the fight against illegal immigration in recent months. September 11, 2001, woke me up and changed me forever. I am reading as much information as I can on the subject of illegal immigration. I am attending meetings sponsored by groups opposed to illegal immigration. I am writing letters to newspaper editors. And I am contacting my many friends and relatives to get them involved in this fight. I also am considering writing a book on this subject.

If you and your elite friends in the White House and in the business world think I am just one of a handful of voters who feel this way, you are terribly mistaken. Just look at the poll numbers on the subject of illegal immigration, and immigration in general.

Unless you stop this stupidity and these treasonous acts, I will vote for the candidate that takes a tough position on illegal immigration. If there isn't such a candidate, I won't cast a vote for president. Even if you fix problems in the Middle East and turn our economy around, I won't vote for you unless you do the right thing regarding illegal immigration. You will need the independent vote to win reelection. I hope you wake up, Mr. President, like millions of Americans finally did after 9/11.

Sincerely,

Dan S.
