Arizona/Mexico Border
The Border Hawk unmanned aerial vehicle
performed its first full border mission on Tuesday, sending high
quality video images over the Internet while being controlled
by a GPS guidance system. While no SBIs (suspected border intruders)
were spotted on this first mission (limited to a total of thirty
minutes) the Border Hawk showed that it could easily spot people
entering the U.S. illegally. Part of the mission was flown while
Glenn Spencer was being interviewed on the George Putnam Show
in Los Angeles. "We are going to continue to expand the
duration and capability of these missions," said Glenn Spencer
of American Border
Patrol. See

Is
Arizona the Next Recall State?
One of the underreported stories to come
out of the California recall election was the fact that Gray
Davis's signing of the illegal alien driver's license bill actually
mobilized votes against him. --- In September, Janet
Napolitano [shown at left], governor of Arizona, said that if
the state's legislature presented her with a bill identical to
the California bill, she would sign it. [Also see: Recall

Mexicans' ID cards gain acceptance
To muggers and immigration agents, Emilio
is just another illegal immigrant with cash stuffed into his
socks, a "walking ATM" from Mexico. -- But to a growing
number of businesses and local governments, the 34-year-old cook
toiling in South Philadelphia represents a new opportunity [illegals are prohibited by law from
working in the U.S.]. [Mexican

Mr. Bush: Help California stem illegal immigration
President
Bush will gaze upon the productive farm land of California's
Central Valley and Inland Empire when he visits Fresno and Riverside
this week. He will know, as we all do, that much of the produce
of those farms is brought to market by those who did not enter
our country legally.... [Goes on to encourage some sort of 'guest worker' scam.]
