Can't Avoid Illegals
Tuesday morning while running a test
of the Border Hawk UAV. Hawkeye volunteers spotted 5 SBIs just
north of the border. A couple of hours later a team with Border
Technology, Inc. spotted seven loading into a van. The next morning,
Glenn Spencer observed an SBI walking past ABP Headquarters.
In each case the Border Patrol was notified, and in each case
the people doing the reporting were not looking for SBIs. "We
have trouble staying out of their way," said Glenn Spencer
of ABP. ABP knows only that the seven observed by BTI people
were apprehended. |

Don't
reward people who break the law
We thought times had changed. We thought
Massachusetts had gone past its days of rewarding lawbreakers.
We thought the days of Gov. Michael Dukakis secretly providing
illegal aliens with Social Security numbers so they could collect
welfare were just a bad memory. -- But nothing really changes
in Massachusetts; it just evolves.... |

Illegal
alien license bill flawed
A bill that would give undocumented immigrants
in Massachusetts the right to obtain a driver's license is so
ill-conceived that it is hard to understand why it has advanced
in the Legislature. -- As drafted, the bill serves as an endorsement
for illegal immigration and raises serious security concerns
at a time when the country is still seeking ways to protect itself
from terrorists. |

Nothing
to Celebrate?
...If nothing is done to enforce our
laws and honor our Constitution, [anybody read that lately? -
check out article IV, section 4.]- if this illegal "immigration"
isn't stopped, and these people eventually govern our then grown
children, will they and our grandchildren be allowed to ignore
their laws? -- Will the "old Americans" - those "gringos"
who are not part of "La Raza" be protected... |

Congress
Refuses to Fight Illegal Aliens
Comrade
Nancy Pelosi must be celebrating: The U.S. House today refused
to expand a pilot project that lets employers check immigrants'
identification numbers and ensure they are not in America illegally.
-- If taken nationwide, the pilot program being used in Texas,
California, Florida, Illinois, Nebraska and New York would "create
a single database... |

County
delegates seek to tighten immigration
State Del. Pat McDonough and Del. Richard
Impallaria... are expecting to sponsor three bills in the upcoming
General Assembly session aimed at illegal immigrants. -- "There
is a belief that illegal aliens have status in this country,
that we are a country without borders," McDonough said.
"That is a dangerous belief." [One bill would ban the
acceptance of sham
foreign IDs, another would allow the confiscation of vehicles
operated by invaders...] |

The
attack of the open border elites
US House Minority Leader Nancy
Pelosi complained that in many instances, police and other
law enforcement officers "terrorize" the bank robbers
and other criminals they are attempting to arrest. "Breaking
into people's homes, pointing guns at them, yelling 'Freeze!'
this is all very traumatic for people who are just trying
to feed their families. |

Who's
guarding our military equipment?
On Oct. 3, an illegal alien truck driver
from Canada was caught hauling a shipment of Humvees into northern
Maine. They weren't just any Humvees. They were U.S. military
Humvees scheduled for delivery from the Texas Army National Guard
in Houston to the Maine National Guard facility in Limestone.

CLEAR
Act: Some police agencies thumb noses at federal laws
...Opponents of the bill are many. Police
chiefs against the measure predict it will alienate immigrant
communities and prevent investigation of more serious crimes.
-- That was the consensus of police in Arizona. -- "We don't
care what your legal status is," said Silverio Ontiveros,
assistant chief of the Phoenix Police Department.... |

Denying
free health care to legal immigrants OK'd
Arizona is legally entitled to deny free
health care to legal immigrants even if they meet income restrictions,
the state Court of Appeals ruled Tuesday. -- The judges said
Congress has broad constitutional authority to determine issues
of immigration. -- They also said Congress has determined that
those who arrived in this country after Aug. 21, 1996, are ineligible
for federally paid health care... |
