California
activists rant over illegal-license repeal
If you believe the press releases, there's
a holy war being waged in California today. -- It's not the one
you're liable to think of, though: This "war" is over

Legal
process is the issue, not driver's licenses
The legislation that allowed undocumented
immigrants to obtain California driver's licenses touched off

last week from Claremont to Los Angeles protesting the repeal
of the law: Marchers seemed to make no distinction between the
rights of legal and illegal immigrants. |

Hispanics nationwide are angry at the company because of a Los Angeles-based talk show
which they say frequently attacks immigrant rights. |
