Something Afoot

Smoke
and Mirrors?
On the heels of open-border Jim
Kolbe's retirement, rumors are flying that George Bush will
announce a crackdown on the border. Skeptics say he will back
Peter
King's bill because it doesn't have any real teeth and then
wait six months and push for his guest worker program. (King
is a friend of illegals). Stay tuned. Note: American
Border Patrol will be sending live video over the Internet
from the Border Hawk M during Bush's visit. Also, on 1/2/06 ABP
will issue a report to Congress on the Border Patrol. |

Congressman
Jim Kolbe
Regarding Congressman Jim Kolbe's decision
not to run for reelection, in a word, "Hallelujah."
-- When someone retires or passes away, we try to say something
nice about that person, we downplay his negatives and point out
his positives. I would like to do the same for Congressman Jim
Kolbe, but I really don't have the time to do that much research... |

In a choice between hordes of [illegal

better off with aliens looking for a better life. -- What's with
the anti-immigration movement, anyway? Is it full of racists,
xenophobes or patriots? Maybe slightly racist xenophobes convinced
they're acting patriotically? |

In response to my article Bush: All
Illegals Out, various ones have pointed out practical dilemmas
involved in sending illegals back to their home countries. --
For instance, the "temporary worker program" won't
work. After x number of years the illegals are to leave the US.

Far from the southwest U.S. borders with

of trespass to be here illegally and would allow local authorities
