DHS released false and misleading border crossing data
Glenn Spencer explains the Sonic Barrier to Arizona Senate Committee (Scroll down)
Congressman Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, and Congressman Jason Chaffetz, Chairman of the Sub-Committee on National Security and Homeland Defense have sent a letter to DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano informing her that they are investigating allegations from DHS employees that the agency has released "false and misleading border crossing data."
The letter quotes Border Patrol agent Shawn Moran, who is also the Vice President of the National Border Patrol Council, who testified that "got-aways" are "the most important number to track, but is... least often measured or addressed." [...]
In the letter to Napolitano, Chairman Issa refers to a one week period in April 2011 where at least 82 illegal entrants, who were not arrested or Turned Back South, were not reported as got-aways. Extrapolated over the year those 82 uncounted illegals could represent 268,000 illegal entries. And that is for just one week in one BP sector.
American Patrol Report Comment
Ironically, on the same day Chairman Issa issued his letter, March 1, Glenn Spencer presented a solution of the problem to the Arizona State Senate Border Security, Federalism and States Sovereignty Committee.

Sheriff Joe' Versus Obama

Confessions of an E-Verify employer agent
Mitt Romney rolls on (more or less). For better service, "marque el número dos"
One of the seldom considered aspects of mass immigration is the impact it has on the toll-free customer service lines we use.
