LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST SB 371, as introduced, Solis.Issuance of driver's licenses and identification cards.
(1) Existing law requires the Department of Motor Vehicles to require every applicant for an original driver's license or identification card to submit satisfactory proof that the applicant's presence in the United States is authorized under federal law and to adopt regulations to carry out this requirement.
This bill would repeal these requirements.

This bill would repeal these provisions.
